Jeff Waters lives in Des Plaines, Illinois, and is offically retired, so he can work on
Dexter’s Radio Hour (Monday and Friday at 6:00 PM CST) and co-hosting Global Tunes (with Jeff and Marie) Tuesday and Friday at 4:00. He enjoys photography, motorcycling (BMW F-800 Adventure), and long walks on the rims of active volcanoes. Oh, and music. Mostly Lithuanian polkas from 1949 to 1957. Every other kind of music is crap.

An hour long show spanning the globe, showcasing the unsung heroes of underground music, noise, and other experimental entities. You won’t hear this stuff anywhere else!

Free-form radio, mixing genres and respecting no boundaries.   Hosted by local merchant and vinyl junkie partial to new grooves, psychedelic mind jams, and melancholia.  Dig in.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like if Dexter’s Radio Hour and Global Tunes joined forces?  Well, this is the result.  Global Tunes with Jeff and Marie explores music from around the globe, brings you some interesting cultural facts and lets you enjoy a trip without having to pay for planes, hotels and cars.  Tune in every Tuesday and Friday at 4PM and Saturdays at 11am-12pm to hear Jeff (and snippets of Marie) and listen to Marie’s playlists of chosen songs (and sometimes Jeff’s choices too…when Marie is not looking…..)!

Brian and Leni Shelton are a father and daughter duo who produce Crackling Vinyl from their home since the beginning of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Crackling Vinyl features music from record store bargain bins, yard sales, libraries and basement finds. The selection is eclectic and rarely in great condition.
