WHCM looks forward to taking part in World College Radio Day 2023! This year it will be celebrated on Friday, October 6th. WHCM will be continuously live from 9 AM until 9 PM, playing music, taking part in challenges and having fun!
World College Radio Day (WCRD) started in 2011 by Dr. Rob Quicke (General Manager, WPSC-FM, William Paterson University). WCRD is the accumulation of College Radio stations across the globe that come together each year and celebrate the importance of these stations as starting points for future broadcasters and outlets for students to express themselves through the audio medium.
This year’s theme is “Where All Voices Are Welcome”. In observance of this theme we are aiming to have as many DJs on-air as possible! WHCM is a diverse environment and we look forward to showcasing it on October 6th.
